Arlington Turkey Trot: A Local Tradition Returns Nov. 25

  |     |   Uncategorized

Thanksgiving of 2020 probably looked different than usual for most people, some having to abandon their typical traditions—possibly including a morning run. Good news for 2021: the Arlington Turkey Trot is back on! It’s hosting in-person runners once again for a 5K held bright and early on the morning of November 25th.
It’s not only a great way to preemptively burn off some of those Thanksgiving day calories, it’s also a great way to give back. The Arlington Turkey Trot raises funds for local nonprofit organizations that help those who need a hand providing food for their families, finding safe shelter, or finding work. What better way to express your gratitude for everything you have than by giving back to those in need? Register for the Arlington Turkey Trot and a portion of your fee will go directly to organizations like the Arlington Food Assistance Center and Bridges to Independence. Come to the starting line ahead of 8 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day to join the thousands of other runners at the Arlington Turkey Trot.
